Petcare Animal Hospital

This place is too for my two cats. Nails done and shots no problems.

My girlfriend and I have brought multiple animals here and always have a great experience with the whole staff. They are thorough and take plenty of time explaining everything to us. You can tell they are all educated about what they are talking about and care a lot about our pets.

Brought in a surrendered older dog to be examined and address some concerns I had. I'm not sure if it was just a bad day for everyone or if this was targeted judgement but it was an unfortunate experience. I heard employees speaking poorly about the way my dog looked and his behavior from outside of the door. The concerns I had about severe anxiety and weight were ignored, no recommendations for treatment or training just silence and redirection to an earlier issue, which was already addressed. I do appreciate the speedy vaccination and medication. I wish I could leave a better review but it felt like I was an inconvenience and they wanted me and my dog out of there more than they wanted to help. Be prepared for an uncomfortable experience when bringing a dog here that's not in perfect condition. Will not be returning, which I'm sure they will be grateful for.

EDIT. Your loyal client which is my wife and our dog will no longer be going there. Neither will her family. After they realized how much you're taking advantage. You wanting to chop off her ear was fixed with a 25 dollar cream. Why jump straight to cancer diagnosis. (Probably because it's the highest profit for you) And the teeth extraction cost 150. Total. With 3 teeth pulled. And they've taken care of my dogs for over 20 years. They take great care and don't gouge their customers. This place is price gouging at its finest. They tried charging me $2,500 for a surgery that cost me $200 elsewhere. Also told me I would need to mutilate my dog to fix her issue. With a simple cream from another vet, solve the issue. Do not go here unless you want to waste money and put your dog through needles surgeries so they can pad their wallets. And yes I do have the right clinic. Petcare animal hospital. On Margaret in terre haute in. In short, these people are overly defensive about any negative feedback. It's never their fault or their problem. If you check the negative reviews, you'll see a pattern: they overcharge, mishandle euthanasia, and have issues with common surgery complications. There are also complaints about rude staff. I wouldn’t be surprised if the positive reviews are fake. Save your money and time—definitely shop around when they give you an outrageous quote. They seem more focused on money than on the well-being of you or your pet. I have attached the quote they gave me in a picture. Please do not go here. They were extremely defensive and rude when I originally put this comment. And then changed it. Unfortunately didn't screen shot. it goes to show they care about their image and their wallet. Thank you for your time reading this. I know it was long. But maybe I can save you a 1000 dollars per visit.

Dr Moudy and her wonderful staff take excellent care of our dogs and cat. Very friendly and kind.
